Reiki, which means “universal life force” energy, is a natural form of healing that originated in Japan. Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the practitioner can transmit Universal Life Energy into the client by means of placing hands just off of the body or lightly touching the body.  Reiki is “holistic” because it affects the whole person (body, mind and spirit) encouraging deep relaxation and a sense of well-being, and assisting the physical body’s own healing ability to operate more effectively and efficiently.  As a natural form of healing, Reiki can support and enhance other forms of treatment, including conventional medical treatments as well as alternative or complimentary therapies.  Reiki can also be used in a similar way to treat animals, birds and other creatures.  Reiki healing can also be administered “long distance”.

Reconnective Healing is a field where we begin the process of experiencing the infinite supply of Energy, Light and Information, allowing for regeneration and a return to an optimal state of balance on all levels; Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual.  Each person’s healing will be unique, as each of us has our own perfection, different from all others. Shifts may begin to take place on multiple levels after your session. It may be that you feel an improvement in physical or health-related challenges, a stronger spiritual connection, a relationship has become easier or a challenge has disappeared.

Distance healing is equally effective as an in-person healing because in alternative energy healing and holistic medicine therapies, we are working with the physical, emotional and mental aspects of an individual by accessing the individual’s energy body. The energy body can be accessed from anywhere and at any time and does not require you to be physically present with the practitioner. The intended healing energy is transcendental connecting directly with pure consciousness that exists at our deepest level of existence. At this level of connection, time and distance are not a barrier.
